Selenium dioxide
    (1)、 Application:
    Used for manganese electrolysis additive, microelement additive for beverage, blackening agent for steal material. It can also used for oxidizing agent, catalyst, chemical agents, etc.
     (2)、Characters:
      White, luster, square crystal, density 3.59～3.95g/ml, badly volatilizable, its congealed form from vaporizing form appears white or pale yellow needle shape. It can vaporize without thaw. Sublimation temperature 315 ℃ , Melting point 340～350℃. It badly dissolves in water and turn to selenite acid. Selenium dioxide gas appears yellow-green and smells garlic. Selenium dioxide is a kind of strong oxidizing agent and can was reduced by SO2, H2, NH3, CO, C to element selenium. The product absorbs water easily so it should avoid wet in store and transfer.
